Greetings from the Charles L. Shedd Kentucky Association. We were founded as a non-profit organization in 1968 by concerned parents and teachers for people with dyslexia, ADD and ADHD.

Our Mission

The Shedd Program provides educational remediation through highly structured teaching methods and materials utilizing a multisensory approach and one-to-one instruction. We have been providing this service for over 40 years and have helped many children and adults reach their potential. Dr. Shedd's philosophy was to "provide maximal learning for minimal cost." The Shedd programs provide "affordable alternatives" to costly private schools. With proper help, these children can have unlimited choices in their adult lives. The Shedd Association gives them this help.

You are invited to come and observe our program at any time. Arrangements can be made by calling the Association office. If you would like to receive further information by mail, please complete the form on our feedback page.
